he need to improve the capacity of Civil Society Organizations in Nigeria received a boost with the commissioning of a state of the art training facility in Abuja by the Country Director of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, BMGF Mr Paulin Basinga.
The training facility known as the Abdulraufu Mustapha CSO Training Center was the first of its kind in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The National Health Dialogue is a platform that brings together stakeholders in the Health and Development sectors to discuss the Challenges and Prospects of Universal Health Coverage in Nigeria.

Overview: Current global political trends such as Brexit in 2016, the surprising electoral upheavals across continents, a complex confluence of nationalist populism, and African countries backing out of the ICC, among others, give clear indications of a pushback to globalization, paving way for a radical shift in global politics. As members of the global community, African countries will be affected directly and indirectly, and so must begin to dialogue on how to engage in this new world order. On the 27th of July 2017, the Ministry of Budget and Planning presented the findings of its draft mid term expenditure framework to civil society, private sector, the media and the General Public in Nigeria. The two ( 2 ) day event was scheduled for Abuja on the 27th of July 2017 and Lagos on the 28th July 2017.
