I am a dedicated and accomplished International Development, Advocacy and Healthcare Financing Specialist with invaluable experience gained in multi-cultural environments. I am well versed in the design, implementation and management of sustainable development strategies, designing and managing grants from different donors. I have extensive expertise in program management and delivering projects for DFID (FCDO), USAID, EU, UNICEF, CIFF, BMGF etc. in Health, Nutrition, Food Security & Livelihood, Water and Sanitation, Education, Governance (Voice & Accountability), Social protection and creative economy programs both in humanitarian and development context.I have Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Master’s degree in Financial Economics, with about 15 years of work experience in development and humanitarian context. I have acquired competencies and skills in several areas of programming and project management especially project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, with excellent research skills required to recognize, assess, and progress in a challenging career in the Public Health sector. I also have people’s management skills, mentoring and coaching techniques, leadership and representation. Currently, I am the Advocacy, Campaign and Policy Manager/Survive, managing and supporting field teams to implement advocacy components of all projects designed to achieve Health, Nutrition, Food Security, Social Protection and Livelihood outcomes for Save the Children International, Nigeria Country Office. In addition, I am the Program Manager of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations investment in health and nutrition advocacy in Nigeria. I am also the current National Steering Committee Chairman of Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CSSUNN) and a member of ad-hoc advisory committee to the Vice Present of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osibanjo and National Council on Nutrition for the implementation of National Multisectoral Plan of Action for Food and Nutrition. And a member of the Steering Committee, Civil Society Network SUN Movement. I am proficient in the areas of policy, plans and strategies development, budget advocacy, legislative engagement, civic engagement and network building and partnership with government stakeholders, professional associations/regulatory bodies/trade unions, market women, development partners and private sector. I coordinate the engagements of high-level policy/decision makers and other stakeholders at national and sub-national levels. I support projects to conduct proof of influence assessments, political economy analysis, stakeholders’ analysis, budget tracking, and establishment of CSOs networks/capacity building and also leads on legislative engagements both at national and sub-national levels.
